We went on a full tour today that included the island tour and the geological tour. Our tour guides were Selma and Gabriel and it was one of the best tours that I have done. We have been on Terceira island for a few days and have done a bunch of driving around the island on our own. We decided to do a tour to get a better understanding of the history, culture and context of the island and it was amazing! Our tour guides kept things interesting and were very interested in knowing what we had done and seen and what we wanted to see more of. They were so knowledgeable and provided us with so much interesting information that we could not find in a tour book or on our own. We had lunch and a snack at the cheese factory included and not only was it delicious but it was also a great opportunity to get to know our tour guides a little better and for them to get to know us. We had a such a great day and were exhausted, full and with plenty of amazing photos. The only thing that we are sad about is that there is no Azores Touch in Sao Miguel where we are going next. Would highly recommend this company to anyone coming to Terceira.
